I made it to 35!
Never thought I would to be honest, I have been close to death many times!
Honestly I have never felt more alive, we have been in a war in Congo, just so we can have technology, people have been getting slaughtered in North Kivu, Goma. The children are safe and so are my team, but I’ll post some videos of the war that I captured on my page soon. Never did I think I’d be dodging gunshots and seeing people murdered with 2 and 4 years olds witnessing. The children are traumatised to be honest. So that out of the way, I’m trying to raised the money for this budget so they will be cool for a year, it’s around $100k.
This is while I build some businesses for them, so next year we won’t need to raise funds again. They are 20k people on this mailing list, if everyone gives $10 then we will reach the $100 because about 50% of of the people will open this email.
When you have donated to the link screenshot it, and post to your stories, I will repost everyone ❤️ thank you so much!
» Ok let me tell you some stuff about how I feel about life now, when I was growing up I used to hate my abusive father, I didn’t see him since I was 9, I vowed to never be like him, part of not being like him has shaped my reality today. He tried to kill us and was very abusive to my mom when I was a child. My mom has always been a great inspiration to me, she had me reading Marcus Garvey and Malcolm X when I was a baby, her strength and resilience against mental slavery is why I am a free thinker today. She is now quietly and humbly the creative director of I heart Africa.
I feel like I’ve done so much but I hardly reflect because there is much to do. I’ve been a gymnast, Sprinter, dancers, paper boy, actually my first job was working in a greengrocer, 6 am each day before school moving boxes up and downstairs for £3.25 an hour. Speaking of @Fruitsnrootz that is on hold for now, because I have been focussing on building for the children. All my ex-business partners have gone on to do fruit companies, inspired by the old one and I heart Africa. I will return to selling fruits with new partners and of course beautiful marketing. I have also sold crack and heroin, been in the Army at war in Iraq, been a personal trainer, had a variety of companies, been an athletics coach, mentor for a very many young people, now I’m anthropologist and Pan African developer, we are planning a PanAfrican conference in Accra, Ghana on the 3rd of January for @blackstarlinefest then I’m going to spend time with my elephants. Plan my future, when I was 16 on the streets like a lil crazy man, I didn’t see a future, I never thought I’d have a business selling healthy stuff.
In this time of raised awareness about mental health, especially in young black men, dead is never better, I’ve been there with the gun in my hand, look at me now, you have time to heal brothers, just return to source, meditation, prayer, fasting, fruits and working out. If you are frustrated, go for a boxing session. Speak to someone, there is always someone who will listen. If you didn’t get a chance to come to Egypt, we are planning Ethiopia soon also Tanzania. I’ve been watching what is happening in China rn, so be prepared for another lockdown in February or March. If this happens, don’t panic, you have been given this life because you are strong enough to live it. Blessings unto the ancestors for giving me my life, love for all of the love that the people share. Keep sharing my posts. Post my posts to your stories. Message them to your friends let’s keep the positive vibes high. Don’t fall for the propaganda and above all. If you believe in God you should have no fear, because all is in God’s plan.
Love you, Chaka Zulu
